Dr. Brangman is the founder and proprietor of Newell Health, a lifestyle medicine practice with a strong focus on nutrition and chronic disease prevention, and an openness to a range of modalities such as integrative medicine and herbal medicine. She has also long worked as a hospitalist in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. Originally from Bermuda, Dr. Brangman embraces the "food as medicine" concept, advocating a whole food plant-based diet for health reasons, but further regarding it as a kind and compassionate way to serve the environment and animal welfare. She is passionate about inspiring others to be the best possible version of themselves inside and out, while eating better, moving more and stressing less.
