Jasmol Sardana, DO FACLM DipABLM earned her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale FL after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Maryland.  She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital and a residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington VT.  She is board certified in Internal Medicine, and was part of the very first cohort of physicians certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine as Diplomates in Lifestyle Medicine.  She also earned a Certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell, and a Certificate in Culinary Coaching from the CHEF Coaching Program at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Sardana is the founder of the culinary medicine company WellKitchen, LLC, and from 2017 to 2019 was founding Chair of the Community Engaged / Health Disparities Lifestyle Medicine member interest group at American College of Lifestyle Medicine, which has honored her as a Fellow.  She previously served as a primary care physician at Barnard Medical Center, Washington DC as well as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. 

Dr. Sardana is an approachable and compassionate physician and a passionate leader in the field of lifestyle medicine, which she is also dedicated to utilizing as a bridge for partnering with underserved communities to address health inequalities.  She supports patient empowerment and education, and shared decision-making, to develop a personalized and comprehensive approach to managing acute and chronic medical conditions.  She specializes in the use of lifestyle modifications, including good nutrition (via a low-fat plant-based diet), regular physical activity, adequate sleep, avoidance of substance use, and stress management, to treat and prevent chronic diseases.
