Mahima Gulati, MD FACE MSc FACLM DipABLM ECNU earned her medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, India and completed residencies in Internal Medicine with a Women’s Health Track at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yeshiva University, Bronx NY and in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Utah.  She is multiply board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, metabolism, lifestyle medicine and internal medicine.  She has been named a Fellow of both the American College of Endocrinology and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine

Dr Gulati is a Senior Attending Physician in the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and Director of the Lifestyle Medicine and Lifestyle Endocrinology program, at Middlesex Health Hospital in Middletown CT, where she also founded Lifestyle Endocrinology Shared Medical Appointments.  She is an Assistant Professor,of Internal Medicine in the Department of Medical Sciences at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, where she teaches medical students about Lifestyle Medicine as well as Endocrinology.  She also directs the Endocrinology elective for Middlesex Health Family Medicine residents.

Dr. Gulati chairs the Endocrinology Member Interest Group and co-chairs the Reproductive Health subcommittee of the Women’s Health Member Interest Group, at American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  She was a panel member and co-author of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Expert Consensus Statement on “Dietary Interventions to Treat Type 2 Diabetes in Adults with a Goal of Remission”.  She
is the primary author of four textbook chapters, and co-author of two articles in peer-reviewed journals, on subjects including type 2 diabetes remission with lifestyle approaches, women's reproductive and hormonal health, gonadal disorders, PCOS and pituitary disorders.  She has also published in other settings regarding the business of lifestyle medicine and bringing healthier lifestyles to workplaces.
