Saul Bautista, MD received his Doctorate in Medicine from New Jersey Medical School (Rutgers), and his BA in Biology from Rutgers University - Newark.  He has been a Staff Sergeant and Combat Medic for 6 years at the New Jersey Army National Guard.   He has been the Project Principal Investigator at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for the study "Impact of Student-led Lifestyle Medicine Programs on Physical Activity and Dietary Behaviors of Medical Students".

Dr. Bautista is the former Marketing Committee Chair for the Lifestyle Medicine Pre-Professional Working Group for American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), and received the Donald A. Pegg Lifestyle Medicine Student Leadership Award from ACLM in 2018.  He also received the Trailblazer Award from the Student National Medical Association in 2019 at New Jersey Medical School.
