Lisa A. Smith is an entrepreneur, nutritionist and professional speaker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, masters in business administration, and a certificate in plant based nutrition.  Lisa is the executive director of the Plant Based Nutrition Support Group, author of The Plant Based Foodie and creator of the plant based course, P.H.A.R.M. TO TABLE.

Lisa began her own weight loss journey in 2012.  She fell in love with fitness, nutrition and self-development, and lost over 60lbs.  With new found confidence in herself, she launched Professionally Fit in July of 2015.

At Professionally Fit, Lisa and her team help corporate and government clients identify opportunities in their organizational wellness practices which will translate to growth and productivity in their companies.  After launching Professionally Fit Lisa quickly realized there was a segment of the population for whom holistic plant-based health and wellness coaching was not accessible.  She launched The Black Health Academy in October of 2017.  The Black Health Academy pairs an E-learning platform with boots-on-the-ground community initiatives and educational experiences, to ensure participants are empowered with the knowledge, skills and abilities to state their case successfully on behalf of fair and honest healthcare, chronic disease prevention and mental health.
